Course description
This course is designed for final-semester students in the Master of Arts in Translation and Interpreting (MATI) program. It offers a hands-on opportunity to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application in a professional setting. Through a structured professional placement or an equivalent experience, students will engage with real-world challenges and expectations from industry. The course emphasises the development of essential employability skills: interpersonal communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability. Furthermore, students will cultivate a skill set that aligns with industry demands. They will learn to navigate professional environments, adapt to diverse work cultures, and contribute effectively to authentic workplace settings.
