Course description
The program involves a team of students assisting developing countries in their sustainable tourism efforts. Students will undertake a course in sustainable tourism development planning throughout the semester before spending an intensive period (2 weeks) in an international developing country undertaking a specific research project. The course will provide students with the foundations of sustainable tourism development theories which will then be utilised and applied through the fieldwork.
