Course description
This course is designed to introduce students to the forces encountered by the tourism industry as a result of globalisation. The course will focus on a number of significant issues that surround the globalised tourism sector and examine in detail good business practice and strategy from a destination management perspective. Global tourism demand, destination competitiveness, global tourism health and safety and tourism in the developing world are among the topics examined in this course.
