Course description
Departmental consent required for semester 1 enrolment. Please contact the School for permission to enrol.
Second supervised practice experience for MSocWkSt students enrolled in the #32 unit program. Placement runs for 18 weeks commencing two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester, four days a week, in a social welfare agency. Focuses on integration of practice experience with course material and companion courses. Sem 1, 2011 dates: 14th February - 16th June 2011 Sem 2, 2011 dates: 11th July - 10th November 2011. Students must contact the Field Education Unit (fielded@uq.edu.au) for a pre-placement interview in August of the preceding year for semester 1 commencement and April of the same year for semester 2 commencement.
