Course description

This course provides an intensive focus on four themes which pose long-standing challenges to social work in mental health. Students are encouraged to engage directly with current theoretical literature and research, demonstrating the ability to apply these to direct practice situations. Themes covered: Mental illness and spirituality Critiquing recovery Responding to trauma Mental illness and welfare
