Course description

Departmental consent required for semester 1 enrolment. Please contact the Program Director for permission to enrol. Semester 2 start date - Friday 9th July 2010 pre-placement workshop, then placement from 12th July 2010, (2 weeks before semester) until 11th November 2010, (continuing two weeks after semester), field placement for supervised practice of 18 weeks, four days a week in a social welfare agency. Focus on integrating knowledge from course material to date, concurrent courses and practice experience. Prospective students are advised to contact the Field Education Unit, to arrange a pre-placement interview, in the month of April of the same year, prior to going on placement in semester 2.
