Course description
First supervised practice experience for Bachelor of Social Work students, commencing two weeks prior to semester for 17 weeks, four days a week, in social welfare agency, totaling 476 hours. Focuses on integration of practice experience with course material to date and companion courses.
Students are expected to attend pre-placement workshops on February 14 and 15, 2010 with placement starting on February 16, 2011 (End Date - 9th June 2011).
Prospective students are advised to contact the Field Education Unit, to arrange a pre-placement interview, in the month of August prior to going on placement in the first semester of the following year.
