Course description
Supervised project on research topic in statistics, approved by Statistics coordinator. Student selects supervisor and project topic from advertised list. Thesis to be written, and oral presentation to be given, on the research topic. Students commencing year project in Semester 1 enrol in STAT6040 for Semester 1 & Semester 2; students commencing year project in Semester 2 enrol in STAT6041 for Semester 2 and the following Semester 1; students completing project within one semester enrol in STAT6030 in Semester 1 or 2.
