Course description
The course examines evidence of social injustices in the distribution of health and illness, and the provision of health care, in comparative perspective. It aims to develop critical perspectives on health provision and the politics of health care in contemporary societies. Gender and generation, class, ethnicity and nationality as influences upon patterns of health and disease will be considered.
