Course description

A practical language course for the advanced learner aimed at extending written and spoken communicative proficiency as well as promoting a more comprehensive and sophisticated knowledge of contemporary Russian. Particular attention is paid to aspects of morphology and syntax traditionally problematic for English speakers, as well as to vocabulary, register, word-formation and language change. Teaching and assessment give equal emphasis to written and oral skills and are based on authentic texts, video and audio materials.
