Course description
This course provides an introduction to either Arabic or NT Greek or Sanskrit and is a basis for understanding the sacred texts of Islam, Christianity and the religions of South Asia (Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism). The student will gain a good basis in vocabulary and grammar to enable a reading of the texts and a use of the necessary linguistic tools. This course may not run if there are fewer than 20 enrolments.
