Web-based Formative Assessments will be carried out during units 1 and 2, and Summative Assessment at end of course. These will consist of a combination of imaging case studies and multiple choice questions. Log book assessment for diagnostic ultrasound studies. This is a non-graded course.

Course description
Students will obtain a global perspective of Chest Radiology including a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of imaging related to cardio-thoracic injury, structural normality and disease and its role in multidisciplinary management. Students will develop effective communication skills and critical judgement regarding the imaging of patients with conditions affecting the heart, lungs, mediastinum and thoracic wall. Such attributes will be developed by a combination of web-based interactive lectures, practical imaging case-studies, diagnostic ultrasound log book, formative assessment and self directed learning.
