Course description
This course provides students with the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge and skills for application in family therapy practice. The focus is on the application of systemic principles and techniques to family therapy with individuals and couples and there is some consideration of the application of systemic principles and techniques in organisations. Students develop further experience working in teams and are expected to take on increasing responsibility within the team. Students are also expected to develop greater capacity to utilise understanding of personal systemic influences and how these impact on their work as family therapists.
