Course description
The course builds on PUBH7650, Evidence-Based Health Care by taking students from the basic concepts underpinning the contribution of clinical epidemiology to evidence-based practice through to advanced consideration of the four topics that are important for evidenced based health care research and decision making. In this course, students will develop a practical understanding of these common quantitative methods of interest to clinical epidemiologists: clinical agreement, diagnostic procedures, survival analysis and meta-analysis.
