Course description

This course introduces students to the basic concepts of pharmacoeconomics, beyond the traditional emphasis on cost-effectiveness analysis for reimbursement decisions. The course will explore the broader regulatory and policy environment in Australia and internationally. The course is complementary to a dedicated cost-effectiveness course with an analytical focus (PUBH7618 Cost effectiveness in health and medicine). This course may not be offered if the enrolment is less than 10 students.
