Course description

Description: This course broadens the disciplinary base in using various sources of demographic and mortality data (vital registration, censuses, surveys) to understand the health of populations, with a focus on understanding and applying demographic techniques to estimate mortality levels and patterns in developing countries. This course may not be offered if the enrolment is less than 10 students.
