Course description
This course aims to provide students with a framework for understanding environmental health within the broader public health context. Student will learn about the drivers and pressures that cause health-related hazards in anthropogenic as well as primary (natural) environments. They also learn about human exposures to the environmental hazards and what drives exposure - and finally study the human health impacts that result from the hazards and exposures. Student will also be positioned to understand primary, secondary and tertiary levels of intervention to manage these hazards, exposures and impacts.
