Human factors psychology is the science and practice of understanding the fit between people and the systems they work with. Areas of application range from small everyday systems such as desktop computers through to large specialised systems such as air traffic control. In this course, students study human-system fit from the perceptual, cognitive, social, and organisational points of view.
