This course presents an introduction to the area of human sexuality. Its objective is to survey theory, research and clinical reports in the area in order to increase students' understanding of the diversity of human sexual practice. Topics include human sexual response, sexual relationships, sexual and sex role development, sexual orientation, sexually transmitted diseases, and sex in the media. This is not a subject in sex counselling or sex therapy.
