Course description
Semester 2 2012 Offering : This course provides a comprehensive overview of the government and politics of the United States. Contemporary political issues and this year¿s Presidential election will be used to frame an examination of the development, evolution and operation of the key political institutions of the country. Advanced topics in political science, not covered in other courses, and available only under special circumstances (for example, course to be given by a visiting lecturer in a specialty area that is not usually available). Regardless of changes in the content of the course, students can only take the course once.
