Course description
This course introduces students to the study of politics and public policy. The topics we discuss - happiness, climate change, the financial crisis, globalization, resource taxation, democratic renewal - have been chosen for two reasons. First, because they are topical and (hopefully) interesting. Second, because they can be analysed using the dominant theories within political science.
