Course description
This course provides an opportunity for students to develop an understanding of fundamental concepts relevant to physiotherapy practice. The key areas of study include (1) Pathology; (2) Clinical reasoning and principles of physiotherapy examination; (3) Pain mechanisms and tools to aid tissue repair; (4) Medical and physiotherapy management of the orthopaedic patient; and (5) Participation in a Pre-clinical Professional Practice Program.
