Course description

The study and application of physicochemical principles to the design, formulation and effective use of liquid, semi-solid and solid dosage forms. Factors influencing drug absorption, specifically from the gastro-intestinal tract will be introduced as will the basic principles of biotechnology as they pertain to the pharmaceutical industry.
