Course description

NOT 2010 An examination of some of the core concepts in political philosophy such as equality, community, liberty, ownership, state neutrality, & autonomy. Different political philosophies & critical perspectives employing various interpretations of these concepts are also studied such as egalitarian, libertarian, feminist, & communitarian theories. Contemporary political issues are used to both illustrate the nature of the different theories & also as an aid in critically assessing them.
