Course description
This course is an introduction to the philosophical study of ethics. It examines the nature & basis of ethical claims, including questions of objectivity, relativism, & the nature of moral value. The course also discusses ethical theories, including Kantian ethics, utilitarianism, ethics of care & virtue ethics, existentialist ethics, & theories of justice & rights.
