Course description
Overview of drug groups in current clinical use or later stages of development, with a focus on mechanisms of action. Systematic pharmacology: cardiovascular, respiratory & renal pharmacology. Neuropharmacology, endocrine pharmacology, gastrointestinal pharmacology. No formal contact hours but students are expected to spend approximately 12 hours in private study per week on this course.
