Course description

This course is one of four industry placement courses that will be taken in the final semester of the Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety Science. These courses will provide real industry experience in an approved workplace. Students will be expected to be present in the workplace during normal working hours and undertake OHS related work as agreed between the workplace supervisor and the placement coordinator. During each period of placement students will complete an assignment in one of the areas of: occupational health, occupational hygiene, occupational safety or ergonomics. Upon completion of the four industry placement courses each student will have completed an assignment in each of the areas listed above.
