Course description
This course will continue the study of occupational hygiene and toxicology. Toxicology of, and exposure, to specific groups of workplace contaminants will be reviewed and methods of exposure assessment and control will be discussed. Specific means of identifying and classifying toxic and dangerous chemicals will be presented. The workplace exposure to physical agents including noise, vibration and radiation will be discussed. The role of research in advancing occupational hygiene will be reviewed.
