Course description
This course will provide students with an introduction to occupational therapy, including the occupational therapy philosophy, history of the profession and theoretical underpinnings. It will also overview of the fundamental stages of the occupational therapy process, which begins from the point of receiving an occupational therapy referral, assessment, intervention and outcome evaluation. It will also introduce students to Activity Analysis as a core occupational therapy skill.
