Course description

This course is an introduction to nutritional epidemiology and its application to programs, policy and research. It covers the major methods of nutritional assessment (including dietary, anthropometric & biochemical), common and recommended approaches for surveys, program monitoring and evaluation, and approaches to critical appraisal. The course will be relevant to public health nutritionists and others with an interest in understanding nutrition in population health. The course may not be offered if the enrolment is less than 10 students.
