Course description
his course will provide an in-depth understanding of how the human body is nourished, and how we determine the nutritional status of individuals and populations. The content will include modules on: the energy-yielding nutrients, the micronutrients, imbalances in nutrients, translating nutrition science into food guidance systems. The content will cover requirements, food sources and functions of the major nutrients of interest in human nutrition, as well as translating this knowledge into practical tools.
