Course description
This course will introduce the student to the concepts of the therapeutic relationship and collaborative practice applied to the complex supportive care of people with chronic disease and/or life-limiting illness (LLI). The focus includes holistic clinical assessment of the person and their family and carers. The course prepares students for the practice of advanced nursing in the field of chronic disease management and palliative care.
