Course description
This course offered concurrently with NURS7242, develops advanced competence in the practice of physical assessment across the lifespan toward the scope of the Nurse Practitioner. The development of expanded clinical assessment capability provides an enhanced appreciation of the management of acute, complex and chronic illnesses. This course also develops capacity in the interpretation, validation and decision-making frameworks surrounding advanced investigations for the Nurse Practitioner. Immersion within the clinical setting supervised and mentored by the CST provides clinical context and consolidation of learning needs.
