Course description
This course expands the knowledge of advanced physiology and pathophysiology for the student. Development of an enhanced foundation enables the depth of critique and differentiation of findings required as a Nurse Practitioner to inform clinical decision making. In addition, this course introduces and builds on the development of independent practice, through the use of a structured and systemic approach to clinical assessment, and the formation of holistic and validated management plans. Learning outcomes emphasis decision making based on clinical assessment, evidenced based practice, and patient and culturally specific outcomes.
