Course description

Clinical Practice 3 within the Bachelor of Nursing (BN) requires student to complete 160 hours, of supervised clinical experience. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, students will engage with increasingly complex professional practice concepts within various clinical practice settings.

The educational focus for Semester 1, Year 2 is on advancing theoretical and clinical knowledge and skills necessary for providing safe, person-centred care across diverse acute and non-acute environments. These environments include inpatient settings, community healthcare, and residential aged care facilities.
