Course description
The course MUSC7730 Technology in Music Education provides theoretical and practical training in the application of technology for music teachers in studio, community and classroom music settings. The course will be aimed at teachers with little or no background in the use of music technology, but will be comprehensive in its scope. It will cover the many applications of technology in areas such as musical analysis/transcription, composition, arranging, realisation, musical instruction, recording, promotion, performance and public engagement. A strong practical emphasis will underpin course assessment and will be fundamental to course outcomes. NOTE: This course will not be offered if there are fewer than 15 enrolments.
