Course description

The course comprises the music therapy clinical practice experience for Semester 2 of the program. It involves a 25 day (or the equivalent of 200 hours) clinical placement at an allocated facility under the guidance of an experienced registered music therapist. The focus of this second clinical placement is on beginning to develop skills in co-leading and leading music therapy programs with a specfic client group. Students will also begin to gain an more in-depth understanding of the music therapy process for a particular clinical population.
