Course description
NOT 2007 An analysis & evaluation of the influence of Australian grassroots music, specifically country music, on formations of national identity & on the expression of social & cultural transformations. The analysis commences with an historical overview of early roots music & traces significant social changes through changing approaches to, & content of, contemporary Australian music.
