Course description
This course details the theoretical and practical considerations required to perform a basic abdomen and pelvis MR examinations with particular reference to the liver imaging, intestines, prostate and female pelvis. Students will be able to recognise normal anatomy and common pathologies, be able to tailor the examination accordingly, and to critically evaluate the final images. Students will also be aware of appropriate patient care and understand appropriate equipment set up and preparation.
