Theoretical background & clinical applications of Echo Planar Imaging (EPI). Theory covered includes pulse sequesnce & variants of EPI inlcuding optimum k-space sampling, susceptibility effects, understanding image artifacts, methods of improving image contrast & clinical applications of gradient & spin echo EPI
