Course description
(First offered 2013) Advanced Metallurgy Project allows the student to explore, in depth, a topic in one of the specialist fields of Mineral Processing, Hydrometallurgy, and Pyrometallurgy. The Project will focus on a particular technical issue or problem, and the learning plan will integrate advanced specialist coursework in the appropriate field, the theory and application of specialist research/characterisation tools and experimental studies on the selected topic. The project topic will be selected by the student with approval from an academic supervisor. Assessment will by examination of the final project report.
