Course description
Cleaner production is a structured, holistic & common sense approach that aims to reduce environmental impacts while lowering costs. Cleaner production encourages the mining industry to think of innovative alternatives that will avoid & reduce waste management. Understand sustainability issues for the mining industry; identify waste generation in the mining industry; understand & communicate the concept of cleaner production; identify & evaluate cleaner production opportunities.
