Course description
This course will assist students to consolidate their learning on the process of birth. They will be given the opportunity to learn about the mechanisms of birth and the internal and external influences on the normal birthing process. This will include teaching on the hormonal regulation of labour birth and lactation . Management of the third stage of labour and care in the immediate postnatal period Breast care including screening for and treatment of breast cancer will be covered in this course.
