Course description
Microbial diversity & its importance in biotechnology as a source of novel enzymes & products. Environmental processes catalysed by microoganisms & their exploitation for pollution control. Application of phylogenetics. Microbial enzymes in biocatalysis. Applied genomics & directed evolution.
