Course description

The public sector not only supports the elected government it is a vital part of the economy employing many thousands of the labour force directly, providing essential services and linking business with governments' activities. The public sector is one of Australia's major employers of University graduates. This course will review the role and nature of government, the operation of the public sector and the interface between government and management practice within the public sector.
