Course description
This course introduces first-year students in the Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours) to the foundations of strategic management. Through case studies, workshops, and a group-based strategy simulation, students will develop a solid understanding of key strategic frameworks and tools. The simulation will immerse students in the role of a strategy team, where they will create a strategic plan, execute it, and conduct a performance audit. By the end of the course, students should be able to analyse competitive environments and organisations, articulate a strategic plan, make strategic decisions and reflect on performance.
