Course description

This course provides a deeper engagement with the ethical, professional and legal obligations of the doctor consistent with the second year of the medical program. Problem-solving skills in the context of the clinical consultation necessarily include consideration of the ethical and legal aspects of the presenting problem and its management. These skills develop in conjunction with developing analytical and communication skills. The course will involve a combination of lectures, web-based resources and readings.
