Assessment methods
Documentation of four deliveries: Pass/Fail; Clinical assessments in both obstetrics and gynaecology with the consultant; Log card with four obstetric and four gynaecology cases; OSCEs; Written Examinations; Honours Project: 25%. To pass this course, students must pass a component entitled "Fitness to Practise" which includes Clinical Skills, Population Health, Ethics, Laboratory Medicine and Medical Imaging.

Course description
This Core Clinical Rotation is in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. By the end of this rotation, you will have built on your current knowledge, skills and personal attributes from previous years and acquired further clinical skills in women's health. Students are attached for 8 weeks to an Obstetrics and Gynaecology unit in a hospital within a Clinical School. It is expected that students will achieve a solid foundation to critically evaluate issues in women's health and reproductive health care.
