Course description
This course will introduce students to elementary numerical methods for the computer solution of various classes of scientific problems. This course contains a large hands-on component based on Matlab and will use real-world scientific examples. Topics such as nonlinear equations, linear systems, data fitting, integration and differentiation will be covered. This course is suitable for students in any scientific or engineering discipline.
