Course description
The biggest challenge facing our planet is how to maintain and manage our natural systems such as fisheries, forestry and biodiversity. Natural Resource Mathematics is therefore a growth area, with jobs in consultancies, industry, research and Government. In this course you will learn modern research methods for analysing & extracting information from environmental & biological data. The course deals extensively with population & ecosystem models with an emphasis on relevance to management.
